1. How to enhance the signal of LTE omni antenna and LTE directional antenna?

The total energy of the signal is determined by the AP, and the antenna decides to concentrate the energy within a certain angle. The smaller the angle, the higher the degree of energy concentration, the greater the signal "gain" obtained, and the greater the distance covered by the signal. On the contrary, if the coverage angle is larger, the energy concentration is lower, and the signal coverage distance is closer. This is the basic principle of antenna gain.

2. LTE omni antenna

LTE omnidirectional antennas generally refer to antennas with the same gain in each azimuth horizontally, that is, 360-degree coverage in the horizontal direction. The increase in the horizontal gain is achieved by the decrease in the vertical gain. It can be considered that the greater the gain of the omnidirectional antenna, the greater the coverage in the horizontal direction and the smaller the coverage in the vertical direction.

Omnidirectional antennas are often used in indoor environments and most indoor APs are equipped with omnidirectional antennas. The LTE indoor antenna can be placed on the desktop or wall together with the AP. It can also be installed separately on the ceiling through a ceiling.

3. LTE directional antenna

LTE directional antenna does not cover 360 degrees both vertically and horizontally.
