1. 5g antenna base station and terminal

The 5G network is a densely distributed base station network. The base station distribution density is higher than that of previous generations of mobile systems. Among them, the base station mobile terminals use the 28Ghz millimeter wave frequency band for communication.

The base station antenna system adopts a phased array antenna system, and the 5g antenna beam is cross-polarized in both vertical and horizontal directions to achieve higher user density and increase system user capacity.

The 5G terminal has the ability to select base stations by itself, and can select base stations with low bit error rates and channel communications according to the bit error rate of the base stations to achieve these functions. 3. Features and technology of mobile phone 5g antenna

1) The 5G terminal antenna is very sensitive to surrounding metals

Due to the short wavelength of millimeter wave, the interference from metal is very severe. Printed circuit boards (ie PCB boards) need to maintain a clearance of 1.5 mm between them and metal objects.

2) The 5g antenna is a lattice that interacts with vertical and horizontal antennas

This vertical and horizontal interactive antenna corresponds to the transmission and reception of signals in the vertical and horizontal polarization directions.

3) The 5G antenna has special requirements for the installation position

Since the 5G terminal antenna is a phased array system, its antenna units need to be synthesized to form a focused beam. Therefore, the 5g antenna needs to be placed in a regular position. The antenna cannot be blocked by metal, which is suitable for 3D space scanning and regular space.

When a 5G terminal is blocked by human hands and human body, its signal will begin to find the optimal bit error rate frequency band. To put it vividly, a mobile phone is like a pet with eyes. Once blocked, it immediately turns its eyes around to find the optimal channel.

We call this action of 5G mobile phone optimization of mobile phones. Therefore, when designing a terminal, the location of the 5g antenna should be appropriate from the beginning to make it easy to find the best.

At present, the most suitable positions for 5G antennas in mobile phone terminals are at both ends, especially the upper end (near the earpiece position). Other 4G internal antennas must give way to them, that is to say, they have the right to preferential positions, and other antennas are moved to other places.
