Demand:

Challenge:

Signal stability and anti-interference is the cornerstone of the microphone wireless communication solution, the space of various colours of electronic products and the complexity of the application environment, result in serious signal interference, which requires a larger antenna position and a larger grounding area to meet the antenna design needs; 100MM long, 25MM inside diameter microphone space has been loaded with the function of the required motherboard components and a long 66 * width 20 * thickness 7MM large-capacity battery, large-capacity battery and narrow space to our engineering team brought great challenges.

Solution:

1. The product motherboard into the motherboard bracket and then pushed into the shell, need antenna and motherboard or motherboard bracket must be connected in advance, consider the subsequent mass production, ruled out the possibility of antenna attached in advance in the shell.

2. One side of the motherboard bracket is a function button, can't install an antenna, can only choose to install the antenna design on the other side, the other side is a large capacity battery, the battery is the biggest killer of antenna performance, which needs our engineer's professional knowledge to solve.

3. The structure engineer and RF engineer cooperate closely to analyze, choose to add 5MM thickness isolation foam on the antenna PCB board, make the antenna and battery produce reasonable safety distance, make the battery radiation to the antenna to minimize the impact.

4. The antenna position is determined and the space given by the structure engineer determines the size of the antenna, for this reason, we define the antenna size at 100*17MM in length and width.

5. The use of an engraving machine let the engineer shorten the development time greatly, after 5 times of engraving and sample making, finally we successfully developed the dual panel antenna with a length of 100*width 17*thickness 1MM, up to 4.8DB gain and 44% efficiency, as well as the dual panel makes the antenna ground become bigger, perfectly improve the antenna anti-interference ability and superior performance of the long-distance transmission.
